2. What personal data do we process?

  1. We only process personal data in order to provide you with our services, products and customer support, to comply with our legal obligations, and to protect our legitimate interests. We collect personal data about people who are interested in our services or who have given us their consent to approach them with our product and service offers.
  2. In general, you can visit CDESK websites without being identified or the need to reveal any information about yourself. Our servers collect IP addresses for technical reasons to enable you to connect to and view our websites optimally.
  3. If we need to collect personal data from you for a specific purpose, e.g. to provide you with certain information you have requested or if you are interested in receiving information emails about our company, we will always inform you in advance. We do this by way of contact forms on our website that you can fill in. You are under no obligation to provide us with any additional information that would not be necessary or appropriate for us to provide you with the services you have requested.

You are under no obligation to provide us with any personal data, however, your personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract concluded with you or your company. If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to deliver the requested services mentioned above.

For all processing purposes for which you have given your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time without any unfavorable effect on any business or working relationship and contact you may have with us.

4. Data security and data retention

We use strict physical, electronic and organizational security measures to protect your data from unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, unforeseen loss, destruction and damage, both online and offline. We will retain your data for as long as necessary for the purpose of the data collection and then retain your data for as long as required by law.

5. How can I withdraw my consent to the processing of personal data?

If we have asked you to consent to the processing of personal data we retain about you, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on your consent prior to its withdrawal. If you wish to do so, please contact us using the online form.

6. What are your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data?

You are entitled to know what personal data we hold about you, to request that we make the necessary changes to keep your personal data correct and up to date, or to request that we delete the personal data we hold about you. You can also inform us if you want to restrict the processing of data or object to the processing of personal data we hold about you. If you wish to do so, please contact us using the online form. You also have the right to disclose the data we hold about you to another data controller of your choice. You should know that certain exceptions apply to the exercise of these rights and therefore you will not be able to exercise them in all situations.

7. Where can you exercise your rights and is there a fee for it?

  1. You can exercise individual rights by filling in an online form or by sending an email.
  2. We provide all notifications and statements regarding the rights you have exercised free of charge. However, if the request would be manifestly unfounded or unreasonable, in particular because of its repetitiveness, we are entitled to charge a reasonable fee, taking into account the administrative costs involved in providing the requested information.

8. Who can have access to your personal data?

The personal data can be accessed by the controller, its employees and by contractual intermediaries, in particular IT service providers, courier and transport companies. These may be external companies managing our systems or other services ensuring the proper operation of the company and the processing of personal data. We have entered into an agency agreement with these intermediaries for the processing of personal data and they are also bound by strict rules for the protection of personal data, including the observance of confidentiality, so that the standard of legal protection corresponding to the requirements of the applicable legislation in the Slovak Republic is observed.

9. What are the main legal provisions governing personal data?

    • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
  2. National legislation:
    • Constitution of the Slovak Republic (published under No. 460/1992 Coll.)
    • Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and Amending and Supplementing Certain Acts.

10. Profiling and data transfer outside the EU

We do not use profiling and personal data is not transferred to third countries for which there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission.

How do we use cookies?

Cookies are stored on your device as you browse our website. We use cookies to distinguish you from other visitors and to make it easier for you to use.
