With the version 3.0.192, many useful features have been added that bring new possibilities for using CDESK, such as the report for capacity planning from open requests with offer, the option to print a CI object form, new notifications for the Paid Time Off Requests module, and many more.

Report on capacity planning from open requests with offer
The version 3.0.192 comes with a new subsection Report for planning from requests in the Reports module. This provides the user with the basis for capacity planning based on open requests with an offer. The report gives you an indication of how much work your team still needs to do on the already approved offers. This data is important to plan the execution of new projects.
The data is displayed in a clear list, which contains information about the internal proposal from offers and the actual time worked. The list can be filtered by a specific request or by the status of offer items. The data can also be exported in XLS format.
Print the CI Object Form
A new function has been added in the CI configuration object form to print the entire form. The printout includes all data from the object, including additional properties and their values. Only attachments are not included.
Notifications for approval and refusal of requests for paid time off
The latest version of CDESK also introduces new notifications for the Paid Time Off Requests module. From now on, it will be possible to notify approval and refusal of requests for paid time off. The following roles can be notified of these actions:
- Applicant
- The applicant’s superiors
- Substitutes
- Applicant’s assignee groups
Summary report of requests for subordinate users
The version 3.0.192 comes with a new feature in the Report of Requests: a predefined list of requests that you can send by email.
A toggle has been added to the report settings so that only requests from subordinate users will be reported. After activating this feature, it is possible to set which levels will be taken into consideration. For example, if subordinate users have other subordinate users, then you can set whether they will be reported as well.
Automatic generation of work orders on the request from message processing
If the request was created from a mail based on a rule from message processing and the rule uses a request template with work orders linked to it, then in this latest version these work orders are generated automatically. However, this is only true if an assignee, not just a group, is assigned to the template, and there is no need to approve it first.
Before this update, such work orders were generated only after the changes were saved on the request.
Restriction of type selection on the request template
There have also been changes to the request templates themselves. Until now, it was possible to set the request created from a template to offer only selected service areas. Now it is possible to set the same restriction for a selection of request types.
Optimisation of time entries on fulfillments
It is now possible to use the keyboard to enter times on fulfillments, making it easier and quicker to use. This mode only works if simplified entry is turned off.
