At first it was professional cooperation, but at SEAL IT Services and Inova Logic it is never „just“ about cooperation. And so a friendship, mutual help, an unconventional symbiosis and mutual inspiration came about.
The story of the friendship between the Jombík brothers and Jozef Černek and his wife, who are the soul of the Slovenskí Rebeli theatre from Komárno, is literally theatrical. „The Jombíks assembled my first computer, I think back when I was still in my childhood room, and they won me over with their approach…“ Jozef Černek recalls. „In fact, everywhere my career took me and I needed to deal with IT, it was with them.“ Miro Jombík recalls their shared beginnings in a similar way. “They invited us to performances as business partners, but already with a slightly friendly approach. What Jožko managed to do back then, still with children in the drama club, completely surprised us, and we began to see him as a good organiser, an excellent content creator and an enthusiastic actor.“
The first joint meeting was a concert by the singer Misha in 2008, and later they managed together to organise three performances in Bratislava – for families, business partners and friends of the theatre. The unusual symbiosis brought many interesting moments for both sides: „I am sure that at the beginning the lads, the IT masters, were probably in a theatre for the first time. And it captivated them so much that they became something of patrons of dramatic art, which I consider a great honour for my work,“ said Jozef Černek. He values these relationships, which have continued unbroken for two decades and are rare these days.
At the end of last year, due to high energy prices, the theatre found itself on the brink of operating… That is why, at the December performance of the folk musical Helenka, the Jombíks gave Slovenskí Rebeli a cheque with generous financial support. The theatre’s existence is still under threat, it is true: „But the enormous support from people and sponsors keeps us afloat, we are living, we are breathing,“ says Jozef Černek about the current situation. The sponsorship gift from the companies SEAL IT Services and Inova Logic was crucial for the theatre, because it came at a time when they needed hope and support. M. Jombík values the mutual trust, the great energy, helping one another and moving forward together: „We wanted to recognise that Slovenskí Rebeli have operated for so long without a commercial basis, and when external problems with energy came, it was impossible not to help.“
